Explore Kelimutu Volcano Lake allow you to witness and have an experience to see the beauty of Natural wonders in the middle of Flores Island, Kelimutu Lake. Kelimutu Lake was formed due to volcanic activity which then caused the emergence of 3 basins.
Additionally, these three lakes have different colors and can change without an exact pattern and cannot be predicted.
Note:
- You can combine this tour with exploring Komodo National Park, but you need more days to explore Park.
Itinerary
Kelimutu Volcano Lake tour 2 Days
Day 1. Maumere Moni
- Pick up at your hotel / airport in Maumere
- Driving to Moni Village
- En route we will stop at some nice places with panoramic view points
- Visit Wolowaru traditional village
- Then continuue the journey to Moni Village
- Check in at your hotel in Moni
Day 2. Moni – Kelimutu Lake – Ende
- Today, we pick you up at your hotel early morning to catch a sunrise on top of the Kelimutu.
- Pick Up time is around 04.00 AM
- Driving to the kelimutu Lake.
- Upon your arrival at parking area in kelimutu, prepare to start the trekking
- trekking time will spend around 45 minutes to the top of Kelimutu
- Then enjoy the breathtaking view around the kelimutu lake while enjoying the sunrise
- You will witness the impressive three lakes with different color blend with its natural beauty surrounding.
- Then get back to the car parking area.
- driving back to your hotel in Moni Village for breakfast.
- Continue the journey for visiting the saga/Wologai traditional village
- After that driving to ende to drop you off at your hotel.
