Overview
Wae Rebo Village tour is a tour that we provide for travel enthusiasts who is interesting in cultures, especially Manggarain Cultures in the western tip of Flores Island. the village is very isolated and located in 1.100 meters above the sea level. It takes 5 hours driving from Labuan bajo Town to Denge village (Car parking area). Trekking to the village takes around 3 hours through a lush forest.
Note:
- You can combine this tour with exploring Komodo National Park, but you need more days to explore Park.
Itinerary
Flores Land Tour 4 days
Day 1. Labuan Bajo – Denge Village – Wae Rebo Village
- Pick up at your hotel in Labuan bajo
- Driving to Denge village
- En route we will stop at several nice places
- stop at Lembor village to see the huge rice field
- then continue driving to the south coast and passes some view points.
- continue the journey to Denge Village.
- Upon your arrival in Denge village, prepare to start the trekking to Wae Rebo village.
- The trekking to the village takes around 3 hours through the lush forest.
- Upon your arrival in Wae Rebo Village, you will be welcomed and greeted in the traditional way by local people here.
- You will see the impressive traditional houses which is belongs to Manggarain tribe
- stay overnight in the village at one of those traditional houses
- Dinner will be served in a traditional way with a local food
Day 2. Wae Rebo Village – Denge Village – Labuan bajo
- Breakfast is served in the Village
- After that enjoying the view around the village and capture your memories here before leaving the village.
- Then, trek back to Denge Village where the car is parked.
- Arriving in the Denge village, and then continue the journey to get back to Labuan Bajo on the same way when you came to this village the day before.
- In Labuan Bajo, we will drop you off at your hotel.
- Wae Rebo Village tour in 2 days is finished.
