We (4 adults) booked a private two days trip with return to Labuan Bajo in between. We had a speed boat (shout out to captain Ryan and Adi who steered us to safe shores on both days) and the amazing tour guide Afri ( will miss him a lot!) we saw so many amazing wildlife, they took us snorkelling ++ and we saw several beautiful turtles, fish and reef sharks. We also witnessed several komodos during mating season and ended the trip with a beautiful sunset and bat watching. Would highly recommend ! Excellent and communicative company, even with all the travail we went through with our cruise line, HAL putting up road blocks in not using them HAL for shore excursions.  Eventually, everything worked out. Top Komodo arranged an excellent hike of the park where we saw 6 dragons at various places. After about an hour, we git onto their slow boat to Pink Beach. We swam and snorkled there. They provided the gear, all in good condition. Afterward, we had an excellent Indonesian lunch on the boat before being dropped off at port.

OK where do I start?

From the moment we were picked up from our hotel (Wae Molas) until the time we were dropped off the following day, our tour guide Ansi was absolutely fantastic.
It was an emotional trip for us (my sister-in-law and I) due to a sudden bereavement.
The trip was booked by my sister-in-law’s husband who had passed away very suddenly. It was his dream to see the Komodo Dragons, so we completed the trip in his honour.
Ansi was extremely patient with us knowing it would be a very emotional & difficult trip.
So with that said we were taken to the harbour to find a beautiful boat waiting for us. We were booked on a 2D1N trip to Rinca Island with stop offs for snorkelling, and a trip to Kelor Island, Rinca Village, and Angel Island.
Ansi even adjusted the tour for us as my Drone Permit would only be permitted from the following day.
Food on board was fantastic with a fantastic crew.
Cabins were extremely comfortable with air conditioning.
Nothing was too much trouble for Ansi who was always on hand when we needed and he was so knowledgeable on all the places we went to.
He even spotted a Green Turtle whilst we were snorkelling which is one of the most amazing things ever.
I would also recommend Rinca over Komodo Island as it is less crowded and the guides were very helpful.
So… amazing experience, and if you do a boat tour with this company please request Ansi as your guide as you will not be disappointed.

Merci à Top Komodo Tour pour nous avoir fait rêver durant 6 jours (2 jours Wae Rebo + 4 jours de croisière). Des paysages magiques, sur et sous l’eau. On en a pris plein les yeux et ce moment restera pour toujours gravé dans notre mémoire.
Tout était parfait du début à la fin: L’organisation , les trips, le bateau, les repas.
Mention spéciale +++ à notre super guide Afri, qui va beaucoup nous manquer.
