Day 1: Labuan Bajo – Ruteng (Approx. 5 Hours Drive)
Our team will pick you up directly from your hotel in Labuan Bajo to begin the journey. The drive to Ruteng takes about five hours, but do not worry about boredom as the route offers incredible views.
On the way, we will stop at Cara Village in the Cancar area. Here, you will do a short trek to a viewpoint where you can see the spectacular Spider Web Rice Fields, a unique agricultural design specific to this region.
Afterwards, we head to the Hobbit Cave, known locally as Liang Bua, to learn about the ancient Homo floresiensis. We end the day by checking into your accommodation in Ruteng for a restful night.
Day 2: Ruteng – Bajawa (Approx. 5 Hours Drive)
After breakfast, we pick you up to continue our adventure toward Bajawa. This leg of the trip also takes around five hours, with plenty of scenic stops to stretch your legs.
One of the highlights is a stop at Rana Mese Lake, a calm spot surrounded by dense forest. We will also visit Aimere Village, where you can observe the traditional process of making local alcoholic drinks.
Once we arrive in Bajawa town and check into the hotel, we will take you to the Mangeruda Natural Hot Spring in the So’a region. It is the perfect way to soothe your muscles before sleeping in Bajawa.
Day 3: Bajawa – Moni (Approx. 7 Hours Drive)
We start the day by picking you up for a longer drive to Moni Village. This route is culturally rich. We will visit the impressive traditional village of Bena, which belongs to the Ngada tribe. You can walk around and marvel at the megalithic structures and traditional houses.
To break up the drive, we stop at the famous Blue Stone Beach, where you can relax or take a quick swim. Continuing on, we visit Wologai Village to see the unique homes of the Lio tribe. Finally, we drive through the Ndua Ria local market before checking into your lodge in Moni Village.
Day 4: Moni – Maumere or Ende
