Komodo National Park is also known as the one of the world class diving site on the panet. More than thousand species of the palagic fish. It is home to marine mammals: there are 6 types of whales and 10 types of dolphins.

There are various types of sharks including hammerhead sharks and grey reef sharks. You can also find large pelagic creatures such as manta rays and eagle rays. Some mollusks, crustaceans, and invertebrates round out the amazing underwater biodiversity in the park.

There are rare and endangered species such as the dugong and sea turtles. Some of the fishes you may encounter are: Frogfish, waspfish, stingrays, indian walkman, Spanish mackerel, tuna, napoleons wrasse, groupers, coleman shrimps, crinoid shrimps, zebra crabs, ghost pipefish, decorator crabs, moray eels, cuttlefish, seahorses, feather stars, scorpion fish, frogfish, lots of species of octopus, fusiliers, surgeonfish, flatworms, turtles, sea snakes, bumphead parrotfish, nudibranchs, and more.

There are more than 50 dive sites within Komodo National Park are waiting for the underwater explorer to be discovered. You can do a day diving trip or multy-days liveaboard diving tour.
