Komodo Flores Tour
- Tour Length: 6 Days / 5 Nights
- A combination tour of rich cultures of Flores People and the natural wonders of Komodo and Flores Island
- It takes 5 days on Flores overland tour and 1 day left for the Komodo National Park tour
Itinerary
Komodo Flores Tour 7D/6N
Day 1. Maumere/ Ende Town – Moni Village
- Pick up at your hotel or Airport in Maumere or Ende Town
- Driving to Monni Village
- En route will stop at several places before heading to Moni Village.
- Then, drop you off at your hotel in Moni Village.
Day 2. Moni Village – Kelimutu – Ende – Blue Stone Beach – Riung
- Early morning drive to Kelimutu Tri-color Lake at around 04.00 AM local time
- It takes 30-40 minutes to the parking area
- then trekking about 45 Minutes to the summit of Kelimutu
- Enjoying sunrise while witnessing the wonderful tri-color lake from the top of Kelimutu
- Back to the car parking area and continue driving back to your hotel in Moni Village for breakfast
- After breakfast, long drive to Riung via Ende
- En route will visit Wologai Traditional Village
- then continue the journey and stop at Blue Stone Beach.
- Continue the trip to northern part of Flores to Riungand check in at your hotel in Riung
Day 3. Half-day snorkeling in Riung – Bajawa
- Breakfast at your hotel in Riung
- Today is visiting Riung Marine Park
- First, drop you off at the pier to catch local boat
- our first spot is visiting Kalong Island to witness thousands of fruit bats within the mangroves
- After that, visit Bako/ Tembang snorkeling spot.
- Then visit Tiga Island for snorkeling or relaxing
- Get back to the harbor and continue the journey to Bajawa Town
- On the way we will stop at Soa Natural hot Spring for relaxing.
- Arriving in Bajawa, check in at your accommodation
Day 4. Bajawa – Ruteng
- Breakfast at your hotel in Bajawa
- Visit Bena Traditional Village outskirt of Bajawa Town
- Explore around the village while listening the tour guide explain about the historical side of the village
- Then continue driving to Aimere Village
- Here you can see the process of making a local alcohol drings which is processed out from palm juice
- Then keep driving to the west to reach Ruteng Town
- En route, we will stop at Rana Mese natural Lake
- It takes 15 minutes walk from the main road of Flores
- then continue the journey to Ruteng
- Check in at your accommodation in Ruteng Town
Day 5. Ruteng – Labuan Bajo – Rinca Island – Padar
- Breakfast at your hotel in Ruteng
- Driving to Labuan Bajo, Western part of Flores
- En route we will stop at Lodok Cancar
- here you can see the large rice field with a unique pattern lie a giant spiderweb and it is belongs to Manggarai People
- Continue driving to Labuan Bajo about 4 hours
- Arriving in Labuan bajo, we will drop you of t the harbor to catch a local wooden boat
- Living for Rinca island.
- Trekking in rinca Island to find Komodo Dragon and other wildlife
- Then back to the boat. Continue boat to Padar Island(if time is permits)
- Lunch and dinner are served on the boat
- Overnight are also on the boat
Day 6. Padar Island – Komodo – Pink Beach – Labuan Bajo
- Breakfast is served on the boat
- Trekking to the top of Padar Island
- Enjoy the sunrise while witnessing the breathtaking views around the Island
- Back to the boat and continue the journey to Komodo Island
- trekking in Komodo island to Find Komodo dragon and other wildlife
- back to boat and the last spot we visit is Pink Beach
- The activities here are snorkeling or relaxing on the pink sandy beach
- Then get back to Labuan Bajo.
- Arriving in Labuan Bajo, we will drop you off at your accommodation here
Note:
- Tour program can be changed sometimes due to current and weather conditions, especially on your tour to Komodo Islands
- You can start this tour either from Labuan Bajo Town (Western part of Flores Island) or from Ende/Maumere Town (Eastern part of Flores Island)
