Trekking and Hiking

Trekking to the top of Padar Island rewards you a breathtaking views of the surround islands and iconic three bays and three different beach with different sand color.

the hike is best done at sunrise or sunset when the golden light bathes the landscape in a surreal glow. Additionally, trekking to the top of Padar Island is open only until 10.00 AM in the Morning and open again at 16.00 PM in the afternoon. This regulation is made by the authority of Komodo National Park to avoid the heat of the sun. The reason is for visitor’s safety, because the trekking trails to the top of the island is on the savannas and open area, which means there is no shade along the trails.

The other trekking spot you should try is in Kelor Island. Trekking trails on this island is short, but steeper with rocky terrains. it just takes 15 minutes to reach the top of the Island. Kelor Island offers panoramic viewpoint of white sandy beach and the turquoise waters around the Island. the stunning vistas make it all worthwhile.

How do you get to Komodo national Park from Bali?

When you come to Indonesia, make sure you go to the other places then Bali, like Komodo National Park. the easiest way to come to Komodo is by taking flight  from Bali’s Airport (DPS) to Labuan bajo Airport (LBJ – Komodo Airport). 

Labuan Bajo is a main gateway to explore Komodo national Park. When you are arriving at Komodo Airport here in Labuan bajo Town, our team; Tour Guide and Driver have been waiting in front of the arrival gate of the airport.

If your trip is starting on the same day, then we directly transfer you to the harbor to catch a boat that we provide base on your request. If your tour will be started in the next day, we can arrange  to Pick you up at the Airport and drop you off at your accommodation around Labuan Bajo. All depend on your needs. 

Please note that you can not start the tour on the same day as you arrive in Labuan bajo if you choose the day trip. Because there is no early morning flight to Labuan Bajo and the day trip is started very early in the morning around 07.00 AM. Especially if you choose a sharing trip for your one day trip to Komodo.
