Best Time to Visit
We recommend you to visit during the dry season between April – November. but it is also necessary to remember that, visits in different months or seasons will have different vibes. For example, if you want to see a greenery scene in this island, we recommend you to visit during February – May. Because in that months there is still a process of preservation from the rainy season to the dry season. so that the plants and grass still look green. When you visit around July – November, the grass on Padar Island usually starts to turn yellow even brown, because it is entering the dry season.
If you’re wondering why we don’t recommend a trip to this island or commonly to the Komodo National Park in December or January, we have our own reasons. especially in relation to the weather and rainfall in these months is quite high. But it is not impossible to travel here in those months, because it all depends on weather conditions. Therefore, we suggest you find out or ask us as a local people or local agency about the weather conditions before deciding your visit.
