Four days touring around Flores is the shortest tour program we offered to our customers. This tour is starting from Labuan Bajo, west Flores to Ende/Maumere, east Flores or vise versa.
On this trip, you willl visit several popupar destination on the island either cultural-site or beauty of Flores’ nature.
Note: You can combine this tour with exploring Komodo National Park, but you need few extra days to cover it.
Itinerary
4D/3N. Flores Island Tour
Day 1. Labuan Bajo – Ruteng (+/- 130 KM). 5-Hours Driving
- Pick up at hotel in Labuan Bajo to start the tour leaving for Ruteng
- Driving to Ruteng is about 5-hours
- En rote will stop at several nice view point
- Visit Cara village at Cancar area
- Short trekking at Cara village for spectacular view of Spider Web Rice-field
- Heading to Ruteng Pu’u village to see traditional house of Manggarai tribe
- Visit Flores Hobbit Cave called Liang Bua to know about the story of ancient human-being on Flores called Homo Floresienses
- Check in at your accommodation in Ruteng for overnight
Day 2. Ruteng – Bajawa (+/- 135 KM). 5-Hours Driving
- Pick you up at your accommodation in Ruteng.
- Leaving for Bajawa for about 5-hours driving
- En route will stop at several view points
- Stop at Rana Mese lake to enjoy the beautiful nature
- Visit Aimere village to see the traditional way of making local alcoholic drink
- Heading to Bajawa town for check in at your accommodation
- Afternoon visit to Mangeruda Natural Hot Spring at So’a region to taka a bath
- Getting back to the hotel for overnight
Day 3. Bajawa – Moni (+/- 170 KM). 7-Hours Driving
- Pick Up at your accommodation
- Leaving for Moni village for about 7-hours driving
- En route will stop at several nice places
- Visit an impressive traditional village of Bena, belongs to Ngada tribe
- Walking around while enjoying the view of Bena village
- Stop at Blue Stone beach for relaxing or swimming (if you want)
- Continue trip to traditional village of Wologai village, belongs to Lio tribe
- Walking around Wologai village to enjoy the view surroundings
- Heading to Moni village via Ndua Ria street local market
- Check in at your accommodation in Moni village
Day 4. Moni – Maumere (+/-100 KM). 3-Hours Driving. Moni – Ende (+/- 50 KM).
- Pick up at your accommodation
- Driving to Kelimutu Three Volcanic Colored Crater Lake
- Short trekking to the summit of Kelimutu volcano
- Enjoy the spectacular view of the Kelimutu lake and beautiful Sun Rise
- Getting back to Moni for breakfast
- Continue trip to Maumere or Ende
- En route will stop at view nice places
- Drop off to your accommodation or to the aiport for your next destination
- Tour is ended
Note: You can start this tour from Ende/Maumere, east Flores island and ends it up in Labuan Bajo, west Flores
