Itinerary
8D/7N. Flores Island Tour
Day 1. Labuan Bajo – Wae Rebo Village (+/- 100 KM). 5-Hours Driving
- Pick up at hotel or airport in Labuan Bajo to start the tour to Wae Rebo village
- Driving to Denge village for about 5-hours
- On the way will stop at several nice view point
- Lunch will be at local restaurant
- Trekking up toward Wae Rebo from Denge village is about 3-hours
- Enjoy the view around the village and interacting with local commmunity
- Dinner and overnight at the Guest House (one of the traditional house in the village)
Day 2. Wae Rebo Village – Ruteng (+/- 70KM). 4-Hours Driving
- Breakfast in the Guest House at Wae Rebo
- Trekking down back to Denge village
- Drive to Ruteng form is about 4-hours
- Stop at Cara village in Cancar area
- Short trekking at Cara village to see spectacular view of Spider Web Rice-field
- Heading to Ruteng to check in at your accommodation
Day 3. Ruteng – Bajawa (+/- 135 KM). 5-Hours Driving
- Pick you up at your accommodation in Ruteng.
- Leaving for Bajawa for about 5-hours driving
- En route will stop at several view points
- Visit Flores Hobbit cave called Liang Bua to know the story of ancient men called Homo Floresiensis
- Continue trip to Rana Mese lake to enjoy the beautiful nature
- Visit Aimere village to see the traditional way of making local alcoholic drink
- Heading to Bajawa town for check in at your accommodation
Day 4. Coutryside Tour around Bajawa
- Pick up at your accommodation to start your Bajawa Countryside Tour
- Visit some unique traditional villages such as: Luba, Bena, Tolo Lela, Guru Sina
- If you want, you can mix with trekking to reach Tolo Lela from Bena
- Taking a bath and relax at natural hot spring called Mala Nage
- Take a way luch box is recommended to cover the program
- Getting back to your accommodation in Bajawa for overnight
Day 5. Bajawa – Riung (+/- 70 KM). 3-Hours Driving
- Pick at your accommodation to start the to Riung in the northern of Flore
- Stop at some nice view points on the way to Riung
- Stop at natural hot spring of Mageruda in So’a region
- Taking a bath while relaxing at the hot spring
- Heading to Riung and check in at your accommodation for overnight
Day 6. Fullday Excursion in Riung 17 Island Sea Park
- Pick up at your accommodation, and drop off to the pier to a catch a boat
- Getting on the local wooden motorized boat to explore the Riung Sea Park
- Stop at Kalong island to see thousands of Fruit Bats hanging on the magrove forest
- Snorkeling at several nice snorkel spots
- Heading to Pulau Tiga (Tiga Island)
- Snorkel, swim, relax and having a fun with Fish BBQ on the island for lunch
- Getting back to your accommodation for overnight
Day 7. Riung – Moni ( +/- 185 KM). 7-Hours Driving
- Pick up at your accommodation
- Driving to Moni for about 7-hours
- Stop at Blue Stone Beach for relaxing or swimming (if you want)
- Continue trip to traditional village of Wologai village, belongs to Lio tribe
- Walking around Wologai village to enjoy the view surroundings
- Heading to Moni village via Ndua Ria street local market
- Check in at your accommodation in Moni village
Day 8. Moni – Maumere (+/-100 KM). 3-Hours Driving. Moni – Ende (+/- 50 KM).
- Pick up at your accommodation
- Driving to Kelimutu Three Volcanic Colored Crater Lake
- Short trekking to the summit of Kelimutu volcano
- Enjoy the spectacular view of the Kelimutu lake and beautiful Sun Rise
- Getting back to Moni for breakfast
- Continue trip to Maumere or Ende
- En route will stop at view nice places
- Drop off to your accommodation or to the aiport for your next destination
- Tour is ended
Note: You can start this tour from Ende/Maumere, east Flores island and ends it up in Labuan Bajo, west Flores
