Caci dance is a traditonal dance belongs to Manggarai tribe. It is and kind of whip fighting dance. The dance is done when special cultural event occurred and on Indonesian independence anniversary.
But if you are willing to see and witness this very special and heroic dance, it is also possible to be performed by Local Culture Group when there will be any requested from the guests.
Taking this culture special trip can also be combined with water fall or other countryside tour around Labuan Bajo
Itinerary
1D. Caci Dance & Countryside Tour
- Pick up at your accommodation
- Drive for about an hour to Melo Village where the Culture Group will perform the Caci
- Welcome ceremony will be held before “Caci” main attraction is performed
- Enjoy and witness the dance while interacting with local community in the village
- Driving back to Labuan Bajo
- Drop off to your accommodation
