If you have very limited time or you have only one day free during your staying in Maumere town or in Ende town. The one day trip to Kelimutu volcanic three color lakes might be the best option for you.
The trip will start very early in the morning by car from your accommodation in Maumere or Ende. Then, you will get back to your accommodation late in the afternoon.
Beside visiting Kelimutu lake as the highlihted of this trip, you will have a chance to stop or visit a few beautiful spots en route. You will be introduced to unique culture by visiting traditional village. Enjoying the wonderful east Flores’ nature and more.

1D. Kelimutu Tour From Hotel in Ende or Maumere
Start From Maumere (First Option)
- Pick up very early morning at your accommodation in Maumere
- Drive for about fours with 100KM distance to Kelimutu three color lake.
- Short trek to the summit of Kelimutu volcano
- Enjoy the spectacular panoramic view around Kelimutu area
- Driving back to Maumere
- Stop at Moni for breakfast
- Visit traditional house of Wolowaru
- Heading to Koka Beach for relaxing and swimming
- Stop at Sikka village to the old church built in Portuguese’s era
- Driving back to Maumere
- Drop off at your accommodation
Note: If you will not get back to Maumere. But stay in Ende or Moni after visiting Kelimutu, then we will drop you off there.
